There are a lot of stories that revolve around the diseases like cancer, color blindness and so much more but I feel that this book is contrary. She has been awarded the Padma Shri, and also been given ,urthy doctorate degrees.

He is interested in Anupama, and requests her to be a maahshweta of realising his dream. But this was an important read. The way author weaved the strong story line around characters was outstanding.

They eventually got married. In Mahashwetawe follow Anupama, described to be one of the most beautiful woman one has laid eyes on, fall in love, get married.
Though he belongs to a very rich family, he convinces his sudya, who reluctantly agrees, and gets married to Anupama. She meets curses and rumours about her ownself everyday. Anand is an equally charming, equally brilliant, but abundantly rich hero, who falls in love at first sight with our heroine.
Also the claim that there is a similar novel with the same name, written by Marathi author Sumati Kshetramade, leaves a not-so-pleasant taste in the mouth.

Her faith is tested in every step from there on, neither she is allowed to live peacefully in her in-laws place nor in her parents. The tree does not keep anything for itself. There are some very well written and meaningful quotes throughout the book. Then comes the turning point of her life. I Started this book as a leisure read, but as pages passed,I realised this,was not just a page turner.
