Matt Tennimore, who used to have a high school crush on Grqy and was always out of the closet, is assigned with the mission of rescuing James and bringing him back to the Blue States. But more and more things are changing for him because of the chip and I am very curious to see what the next tenink will bring as far as the plot since it seems it will probably develop more the sci fi storyline.
We’ll publish them on our site once we’ve reviewed them. Task Force Iota 3 books.
The review must be at least 50 characters long. I would like to say that I thought maybe Clark County would merge with Cali during the division, not staying with the rest of Nevada He is reunited with James when he is assigned the job of rescuing James from the Red States who had been recently re-educated.
I’m really looking forward to the tenimo in the series. I will read the sequel Turning Tricksthough wish it were available as a physical book. We appreciate your feedback.
Annr it was a great listen 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Their romance is generally well-played, though I’d prefer less time devoted to descriptive sex. Matt takes the contract anyway and it just gets all screwed up from there. But this is not about the politics of this future era but about a para-military outfit QESA that temino contracts from the Blue government to extract gays from the Red.
Even with all the gulley crawling, trash hiding, drone dodging, the romance and relationship development wasn’t overshadowed or forgotten in all the action.
I don’t like e-books and generally forget I have them on my iPad or Kindle. I was somewhat put off by Matt turning into a needy teenager, leaving all responsibility and a Overall, I’ll give this a 2.
Anne applies her particular blend of romance, comedy, and gay vray to contemporary Catalyzed by her discovery of LGBTQ romance, Anne Tenino left the lucrative fields of art history, non-profit fundraising, and domestic engineering in that order to follow her dream of become a starving romance author.
Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Strong secondary characters that I’d love to read more about Laslo and Logan, I’m looking at you! So, 3 stars it is. I liked that there was a slow build-up to their relationship. There is very little world building, just some quick reference to an event called the Split Between The States. But frankly, there were moments where it barely passed 2. The only part of the world we see is the red state of Idaho and just the slightest glimpse of blue Oregon.
Review: 18% Gray by Anne Tenino
August 1, Imprint: Interesting story This book certainly speaks of “possible” and scary times ahead. If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I think if you take on something like this you have to throw caution to wind in a way? I would prefer more Sci-Fi, more techno-drama, more politics and environment and less romance. Possibly while also lying on the couch, eating bon-bons.
A Gay Dystopian Love Story? The novel is well crafted, Tenino obviously an experienced author.
It allows James to read brain waves from others that most people can not access or interpret, giving him an empathic ability to sense how someone is feeling or what they are intending. Something new to think about.

By the end of the book I could feel the love between these two. Red States are ultra poor, run down, and using tech 2 decades behind the Blue. I am excited to read the next one though! Unless you’re from Idaho, m This is one exceptionally entertaining book. She was trying to hump or get humped throughout the whole story and it was hilarious!
Rescuin In a future where the United States has split along party lines, Agent Matt Tennimore’s job is to get people out of the Confederated Red States, whether they’re captured special ops agents from his own country or gay CRS citizens who’ve petitioned for asylum. Thanks Maria, hope you check it out.

The different factions and the different divisions between the warring groups each had their own title and I often got confused as to who was being referred to throughout the course of the book.
By the end it was Sorry I just don’t even care anymore. Did it make you laugh or cry? And other small things like that.
