Abstract A high power factor bridgeless flyback power-factor-correction PFC converter with synchronous rectifier SR is proposed in this paper. Moreover, since the input average current always follows the peak input current in DCM, high power factor PF is achieved for a wide range AC input. The proposed implementation employs a unique multiple-winding, multicore inductor to increase the utilization of the magnetic material.
